Verstappen and Russell collided twice in just a few rounds, following a late intervention by the security car at the Spanish Grand Prix, which earned Verstappen a 10 seconds penalty.

Going down the main straight line, Charles Leclerc and Russell both seemed to be able to overcome Verstappen after he was over -the -off, but he and Russell touched each other.

They then collided once again when Verstappen received the order of Red Bull to let Russell exceed him, then accelerated once again and seemed to deliberately touch the wheels of Mercedes’ star.
