In the Black Desert Championship on the LPGA Tour, Chisato Iwai was fined two sticks for playing slowly, which made her unable to overcome cutting with two sticks.
After beating 70 sticks (-2) in the first round, the Chisato Iwai needs a stable result in the second round to pass the cut. Experiencing 16 rounds of round 2, Japanese golfers record 4 Birdie and 3 Bogey for a total of -3 score, on the 1 -stick cut point.

However, while playing in hole 8 Par 3, Iwai was fined two sticks for playing slowly, causing her score from Par to turn into Double Bogey. This made the total score of Iwai decrease to -1 and she was eliminated.
According to the statement from the LPGA Tour, the group of Chisato Iwai received an official warning by the referee about the speed of the game 13 (opening from the 10 hole) and tried to return to the play. But this group was slow in the 7 hole and was informed that they would be counted. Coming to hole 8, Iwai did not complete the hole during the prescribed time and was fined. LPGA is currently implementing more stringent measures for slow playing, including fine and stick penalties for players who do not comply with the regulations.
