Casey Stoner joins the 93 vs 46 debate: “Marc Marquez doesn’t deserve all this criticism, Valentino Rossi is a talkative guy.”

Well, well, well, just when we thought the MotoGP drama between Marc Marquez and Valentino Rossi was finally over, Casey Stoner decided to spice things up. Because, of course, what’s motorsport  without a little extra controversy?

The Australian legend, who has mastered the art of riding motorcycles and disappearing from the paddock, has now resurfaced to share his completely neutral opinion on the never-ending Marquez vs. Rossi debate. And guess what? He thinks Marquez gets too much flak while Rossi just… well, talks.

Stoner Speaks: Because Why Not?
In a recent interview, Stoner made it clear that he does not share the widespread criticism of Marquez, the six-time MotoGP champion who, let’s be honest, has never shied away from racing flat out.

“People always find a reason to blame Marc. But the reality is, he runs hard. That’s what he does. All the negativity that surrounds him is unfair,” Stoner said, conveniently overlooking the fact that Marquez has left a trail of broken rivalries (and possibly bones) throughout his career.

But the real gem of his statement? His remark about Valentino Rossi. Stoner, never one to hold back, casually mentioned that “Rossi talks a lot,” as if it were some groundbreaking revelation. Yes, Casey, we know. If there’s one thing the Doctor is as good at as his mastery, it’s keeping the MotoGP media cycle alive for decades.

Rossi vs Marquez: The Saga That Never Ends
For those unaware, the Rossi-Marquez feud has been one of the biggest soap operas in sport. From the infamous Sepang 2015 clash to years of cold-bloodedness and cryptic barbs, their rivalry has provided fans with endless entertainment.

And now Stoner, who had his own spicy moments with Rossi back in the day, has decided to remind us all that, yes, Rossi talks. A lot. Shocking. Absolutely shocking.

MotoGP Fans React: Because, of Course, They Do
Naturally, Stoner’s comments have sent the internet into a tizzy. Rossi fans were quick to accuse him of siding with Marquez, while Marquez supporters used his words as fuel for their endless Twitter battles. Somewhere in the chaos, Stoner is probably sipping his coffee, watching the drama unfold and wondering why he got involved in the first place.

So what’s next? Has Jorge Lorenzo published his own article? Has Dani Pedrosa written a memoir titled “Why I Stayed Out of This Mess”? One thing is for sure: MotoGP’s greatest rivalry may never die, but at least we can count on the legends of the past to keep throwing logs on the fire.
