Real Madrid kick off their 2025 Club World Cup against Al Hilal on Wednesday, but could be without Kylian Mbappé for the match against the Saudi Pro League side.

Mbappé was ill before the game in Miami and didn’t train with his Real Madrid teammates on Tuesday. Therefore, facing Al Hilal is uncertain.

Despite this, Real Madrid manager Xabi Alonso remains hopeful about Mbappé’s availability. During his pre-match press conference (via Diario AS ), he reviewed the Frenchman, as well as Antonio Rudiger and Eduardo Camavonga.
