Josh Allen to Be Inducted into Wyoming Cowboys Hall of Fame
Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is set to receive one of the highest honors from his alma mater as he will be inducted into the Wyoming Cowboys Hall of Fame. The announcement comes as a recognition of his outstanding contributions to the University of Wyoming football program and his remarkable journey to becoming one of the NFL’s top quarterbacks.
A College Legacy Worth Honoring
Before making his mark in the NFL, Allen played two seasons (2016-2017) with the Wyoming Cowboys, where he quickly became a standout player. His strong arm, athleticism, and leadership helped elevate the program, leading the Cowboys to a Mountain West division title and a victory in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl.
During his time at Wyoming, Allen threw for 5,066 yards, 44 touchdowns, and 21 interceptions, while also adding 767 rushing yards and 12 rushing touchdowns. His performance made him a first-round NFL Draft pick and set the stage for his professional success.

The Wyoming Athletics Department announced that Allen’s induction ceremony will take place later this year, celebrating his impact on the program and his continued representation of Wyoming at the highest level of football.
