In news that has rocked the basketball world, Detroit Pistons forward Isaiah Stewart has been kicked out of the NBA following a series of incidents that called his sportsmanship into question. This decision follows the multiple sanctions and altercations that have marked his career in recent years.

The most recent incident occurred during a game between the Pistons and the Minnesota Timberwolves, where a massive brawl resulted in the ejection of seven players. The brawl began after Ron Holland fouled Naz Reid and quickly escalated to involve several players and coaching staff members from both teams. Additionally, in January 2025, Stewart was suspended for one game and fined $50,000 for accumulating six flagrant foul points during the season, including a flagrant Type 2 foul against Thomas Bryant of the Indiana Pacers.
