Las Vegas, Nevada – The boxing world was amazed and speechless after the Mexican icon Canelo Álvarez was transported to the hospital after a vicious blow of Terence “Bud” Crawford.

The incident occurred in the last moments of what was to be a legendary fight. Instead, fans attended one of the most brutal finishes of the recent boxing memory – Canelo collapsed in the ring and remaining motionless for almost 25 minutes before the intervention of doctors.

The Knockout that rocked the world

In turn 10, Crawford delivered a devastating right hook followed by an uppercut that caught Canelo clean on the jaw. The strength was so intense that Canelo has fallen instantly, hitting the canvas without breaking his fall.

“We have never seen Canelo like that. It was frightening,” said an advertisement at the edge of the ring, his voice trembling.

Paramedical paramedics entered the ring while panic swept the T-Mobile arena. Canelo did not answer, his eyes closed and his lame body. Even crawford seemed to be shaken, sparing with concern.

Immediate hospitalization
