Bill Belichick Calls Out Bills’ Form As The Team Struggles With Defense

Buffalo Bills have their work cut out for the playoffs after their ‘sloppy’ win over the Patriots and Coach Sean McDermott didn’t hide his frustration with the win as he remarked, “It’s concerning when you’re in a run defense.” Speaking on SiriusXM’s “Let’s Go!” Podcast with Jim Gray and Tom Brady, Belichick addressed the Bills’ performance and sounded rather dismal.

The Bills’ defensive issues were addressed by the UNC head coach on the Let’s Go Podcast, “I don’t know how you can be comfortable giving up 40 points every week and feeling good about where your future is… And regardless of what their record is going forward. If Buffalo can’t play better defense than they’ve played recently against good teams. I don’t think their season will last much longer.”
Interestingly, Sean McDermott, the Bills head coach, reached a huge personal milestone which he shares with Belichick. He joined Belichick by becoming the fifth head coach in NFL history with five straight seasons with 11 or more wins.
