Big Reveal! Bills face in the playoffs after clinching the No. 2 seed: What we know about the Enemy…

The Buffalo Bills grabbed the AFC’s No. 2 seed in the playoffs Sunday after they beat the New York Jets 40-14.

The victory gives head coach Sean McDermott greater flexibility in Week 18. McDermott and his coaching staff could opt to rest some of their starters for all or part of the final regular season game. The Bills travel to Foxborough, Massachusetts, to play against the New England Patriots.

Buffalo has the No. 2 seed mean. What does it mean?

Buffalo won’t have to go on the road for a playoff game unless they are facing the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC championship.

Who could the Bills face in the first round?

While Buffalo will certainly face an animal in the wildcard, the particular species is still unknown. Buffalo will face either Denver Broncos, Cincinnati Bengals or the Miami Dolphins in the wildcard round.

The Broncos currently have the edge. If Bo Nix and his teammates beat or tie the Kansas City Chiefs in the final week of the regular season, they are in and travel to Buffalo.

If the Broncos lose to the Chiefs, it opens the door to the Miami Dolphins or Cincinnati Bengals.

The Miami Dolphins, who beat the Browns 20-3 Sunday, are in the playoffs if they beat the Jets and the Broncos lose in Week 18.

The Bengals need the most help getting into the playoffs. Besides having to beat the Pittsburgh Steelers next week, Cincy needs the Broncos to lose in Week 18 and the Dolphins to lose their final game.
