In a match taking place at Selhurst Park, London on June 16, British boxer Ben Whittaker demonstrated his outstanding talent when facing unacceptable attacks from opponent Ezra Arenyeka. Despite being headbutted and elbowed, the 27-year-old Whittaker, who once won an Olympic silver medal, fought tenaciously and won convincingly on points, with scores of 100-89, 99-90 and 99-90.

Arenyeka, who wore white gloves and was 28 years old, had a sparkling figure and appearance, but was clearly inferior technically to Whittaker, who wore pink gloves. Despite his efforts, Arenyeka’s unfair actions were unable to shake Whittaker, who maintained a strong position throughout the match. 

Spectators present at the match and fans were disappointed in the competitiveness of the match, as Whittaker seemed to easily control all developments, making it unattractive. However, Whittaker’s victory was considered deserved, despite the bad behavior from his Nigerian opponent.
