Kristin Cabot, who landed a Coldplay gig with astronomer Andy Byron Canoodling’s human resources executive, appears to be married to the CEO of another company and purchased a home with him less than five months before the scandal.
Property records obtained by the Swiss Post show that 52-year-old Cabot, whose maiden name is Stanek, shared a Rye, New Hampshire, property with Rum Privateer and Erew Cabot-Dem, an alcohol manufacturer in Massachusetts.
The company’s website lists Andrew Cabot as the company’s CEO and COO. His staff said his ancestor, the original Andrew Cabot (1750–1791), was a merchant, rum distiller, and successful private entrepreneur during the American Revolution.
After Kristin Cabot was listed as a co-resident at a Rye address, they purchased the two-bedroom, four-bedroom-style home in February, just minutes from the Atlantic Coast, for $2.2 million.
While Kristin and Andrew Cabot share a last name and share a home, the outlet could not immediately confirm when or where their apparent wedding occurred.
Kristin Cabots has now been banned from her LinkedIn account, which showed she has been working as an “advisory board member” for Private Acids since September 2020.
A photo purportedly showing Kristin and Andrew Cabot posing with two children was shared on social media this week.
Andrew Cabot and Privateer Rum did not immediately return emails and comments. Efforts to reach Kristin Cabot were unsuccessful.
On Friday afternoon, New York-based astronomer Dabby, who was investigating the spectacle, used software.
“Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have shaped us since our founding. Our managers must set the standard for behavior and accountability,” the company said in a statement posted on LinkedIn.
“The board of directors has initiated a formal investigation into this matter and we will have further details soon,” the company added.
As The Post previously reported, Kristin Cabot filed for divorce from her ex-husband Kenneth Thornby in 2018, and according to Massachusetts court documents, it was finalized by 2022.
Cabot and Byron went viral because they tried to avoid the Gillette “Kiss Cam” stage that Coldplay took. Chris Martin Singer: “They’re either in a relationship or they’re very shy.”
Byron now appeared to be married to Megan Kerrigan Byron. He removed her last name from his social media accounts before taking it offline after a wave of public comments.
“Responsible for vision and strategy, Andrew works closely with the team he has assembled to produce one of the world’s finest rums,” says Privati. “Andrew has focused on a simple question throughout his career in technology and, over time, in public education and science—’How can we do this better?’”
