The mood around the Chiefs camp was poignant following the news that Kelce’s teammate, BJ Thompson, had gone into cardiac arrest during a team meeting on Thursday after suffering a seizure. Thompson, 25, is reported to be awake and responsive in the hospital. Thursday’s practice was canceled in light of these shocking events.

Kelce, 34, was photographed alongside Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes in Kansas City on Friday. The Chiefs are gearing up for a mandatory minicamp from June 11-13 as they prepare for the upcoming season as reigning Super Bowl champions.

With his football commitments intensifying, Kelce has less time to accompany Swift on her European tour, which is scheduled to continue until August 20 across the continent.
