Angel Reese goes crazy after being CALLED OUT for her RUDE BEHAVIOR. THIS IS BAD!

Angel Reese, the rising star of the Chicago Sky, is under fire as fans and critics alike question her focus on basketball versus her burgeoning social media presence. While Reese’s flashy Instagram posts and dance videos draw millions of views, her on-court performance tells a different story, raising concerns about her commitment to the game.

Reese has built a significant social media following, often showcasing her personality and style in glamorous photos and dance routines. However, this has sparked criticism. Fans expect to see workout regimens, training clips, or basketball-related content from their favorite athletes, but Reese’s feed is notably devoid of such posts. Instead, her page is flooded with lifestyle content, leaving her followers wondering where her true priorities lie.

In stark contrast, her WNBA counterparts like Caitlin Clark regularly post intense training sessions that underscore their dedication to the sport. Clark’s focus has earned her accolades for her game, while Reese’s lack of similar content fuels skepticism about her passion for basketball.

Statistically, Reese has struggled this season. She holds the unenviable title of being the least efficient shooter within five feet of the basket in the entire WNBA. Shooting just 38% from the floor—ranking 51st out of 56 qualified players—her performance has raised eyebrows. Critics argue that while her off-court persona flourishes, her on-court presence falters.

This imbalance is particularly glaring to Chicago Sky fans, who hoped Reese would elevate the team. Instead, some feel her social media distractions may be contributing to her lackluster performance. “We signed up for a basketball star, not a TikTok influencer,” one frustrated fan remarked.

Angel Reese furious at media: 'They allowed this'

The situation took a controversial turn with rumors suggesting that promising rookie Camila Cardoso was benched to help Reese maintain her streak of double-doubles. While Reese’s statistics are significant for her brand, such decisions could hurt team morale and long-term performance. This has left fans questioning the priorities of both Reese and the coaching staff.

“Winning championships should come first,” a Sky supporter said. “Instead, it feels like individual stats are being prioritized over the team’s success.”

Reese has addressed the backlash on her podcast, insisting she balances both basketball and her brand. She claims to start workouts as early as 5 a.m., yet fans point out the absence of training videos or evidence supporting these claims. Critics argue that Reese’s focus on social media could overshadow her basketball career, leaving her legacy in jeopardy.

Interestingly, Reese has also faced accusations of hypocrisy. In the past, she criticized others for sexualizing her image. Yet, her recent posts—featuring revealing outfits and provocative dance moves—have drawn mixed reactions, with some calling her out for contradicting her earlier statements.

Reese’s situation highlights a broader debate about the balance between personal branding and professional dedication in modern sports. Athletes are no longer judged solely on their performance but also on how they present themselves off the court. Reese’s double life as a basketball player and social media influencer is redefining what it means to be a professional athlete in the digital age.

However, fans and critics alike are left to wonder: Can she excel in both arenas? Or is her online fame undermining her basketball career?

Reese’s potential is undeniable, but her current trajectory raises questions about her long-term aspirations. To be the face of the WNBA, she will need to demonstrate more commitment to her craft. Social media fame may be lucrative, but it’s the wins and titles that solidify a legacy.

As fans grow restless and Chicago Sky supporters demand better performance, Reese faces a critical choice. Will she focus on refining her game, or will her online persona take precedence?

The ball is in her court, and the stakes couldn’t be higher.

WNBA star Angel Reese appeared to have deleted her Instagram account after facing backlash over her New Year’s Eve party look.

The 22-year-old’s social media page was no longer available Thursday morning when fans attempted to click on the Chicago Sky forward’s former handle – @angelreese5.

Those who tried to access her Instagram profile were greeted with a message apologizing that the page was not longer available and informing them that it may have been removed.

While Reese’s Instagram account appears to have been deactivated, her other social media platforms, including TikTok and X, were active at the time of publishing.

The mysterious disappearance of the page comes after fans brutally tore into the rising star over Reese’s eye-catching outfit on New Year’s Eve.

Reese turned heads with the daring look she opted for to bid farewell to a successful 2024 and ring in 2025.

Before the clock struck midnight, Reese had shared a sultry selfie – which is still available on her active TikTok page – along with a couple of videos showing her striking a pose.

The 6-foot-3 hoops star wowed in a mocha-colored, animal print, full-length gown which was embellished with ruffled detailing and an extremely-high split up the leg.

However, what really captured fans’ attention was the daring cut design of the tight-fitting dress.

The gown shocked fans with a cut-out in the midsection that plunged below her belly button and was barely fastened together across the chest by a thin brown string.

While some fans gushed over the jaw-dropping outfit, hailing Reese as ‘pretty’ and ‘gorgeous’, others weren’t as complimentary.

‘This is disgusting, I’m sorry,’ one particularly harsh critic posted, responding to a post on X, which reshared Reese’s video.

‘She has a lot of trust in that string,’ another commented in the replies.

Meanwhile, a third unfoundedly claimed that Reese’s nipple was visible as they wrote: ‘It would be fine if you couldn’t literally see her areola.’

Others took issue with the outfit as they claimed Reese had only donned the dress in search of attention.

‘Damn that girl wants so much attention. It’s not funny no more. Is she working on her game to be a better basketball player? That’s the real question,’ one social media user said.

‘This girl just want more attention but don’t want to hoop lol,’ another echoed, as a third chimed in adding, ‘Tell me you want attention with out telling me.’

‘I swear she be going viral for everything but basketball,’ another wrote.

Following LSU’s 94-87 loss to Iowa in the Elite Eight of the NCAA tournament last year, Reese had claimed that she had to play through off-court woes, including being sexualized.

‘I just try to stay strong,’ she told reporters. ‘I’ve been through so much. I’ve seen so much. I’ve been attacked so many times. Death threats, I’ve been sexualized, I’ve been threatened. I’ve been so many things, and I’ve stood strong every single time.

‘… I’m still human. All this has happened since I won the national championship, and I said the other day, I haven’t been happy since then.’

However, following her bold New Year’s Eve outfit many fans called Reese out on her previous comments.

Despite Reese’s right to wear whatever she wants, many shockingly and unfairly suggested that she was opening herself up to sexualized comments by wearing such an outfit.

Many asked, ‘Wasn’t she just saying people sexulize [sic] her to much?’ or, ‘Didn’t she say not to sexualize her?’

‘Per usual she’s half naked. But don’t sexualize her,’ one user posted, while another sarcastically added, ‘Now don’t anyone dare sexualize her.’

Reese also alleged on her podcast in September that fans of her rival Caitlin Clark had made AI-generated explicit photos of her and sent them to her family members.

‘Multiple occasions, people have made AI-images of me naked. They have sent it to my family members. My family members are like uncles, sending it to me like, ‘Are you naked on Instagram?’ Reese said. ‘It sucks having to go through that and see other players have to go through that.’
