Angel Reese Sparks Chaos! Demands Kate Martin’s Dismissal and Threatens to Leave Unrivaled!

WNBA star Angel Reese has stepped up her stance against Unrivaled Basketball, calling for former Iowa star Kate Martin to be kicked out of the league. Reese accused Martin of playing dirty and made it clear she doesn’t want to share the court with her.

“It’s either her or me,” Reese reportedly said. “If she stays, I’m gone.”

The tension between Reese and Martin stems from their college rivalry, which saw intense confrontations when Reese played for LSU and Martin for Iowa. While players are expected to be very physical in high-stakes games, Reese has been vocal about his belief that Martin crosses the line.

Unrivaled, a new women’s basketball league that aims to provide high-level competition outside of the WNBA, is now at the center of controversy. The league, co-founded by WNBA stars Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier, has focused on attracting elite talent, and losing a player of Reese’s caliber would be a major blow.

Fans and analysts are divided on the situation. Some believe Reese’s demands are justified, arguing that a league that promotes fair play should not tolerate unfair tactics. Others believe that personal rivalries should not dictate league decisions and that Reese should focus on competition rather than issuing ultimatums.

Unrivaled has yet to make an official statement regarding Reese’s demands. However, with the growing buzz surrounding the situation, a decision may need to be made soon, one that could impact the league’s credibility and player dynamics moving forward.

Will Unrivaled side with Reese, or will they stand firm and keep Martin on the roster? One thing is for sure: this drama is far from over.

Kate Martin   seemed to be out for revenge when her Laces BC team took on  Angel Reese’s Rose BC team   in the star-studded Unrivalled basketball league. During their game on Sunday, all eyes were on the matchup between Martin and Reese as the former college basketball rivals and now WNBA rivals went head-to-head.

The game was close, with Martin’s Laces winning 71-64. However, the highlight of the game came when Angel Reese attempted to take on Kate Martin at the rim on a breakaway drive to the basket. As the two battled, Martin quickly blocked the shot, knocking the ball out of Reese’s hands, though the body contact earned him a foul and sent Reese to the free throw line.

The streak may seem like regulation from afar, but there’s a bit of history in the rivalry between the two. Martin was a college teammate of Indiana Fever sensation   Caitlin Clark  , and both led Iowa in their heated rivalry against Angel Reese’s LSU.

At the end of Sunday night, Kate Martin finished the game with 7 points on 3-of-8 shooting. Reese, meanwhile, had her best game of the league so far, recording 17 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals, although she was unable to finish the game after being fouled on a defensive play against Martin.

The performance was crucial for Angel Reese, who has been under fire after an embarrassingly poor performance highlighted his scoring issues in a recent game.

While Sunday’s matchup was centered around the duel between Kate Martin and Angel Reese, Martin’s tough play against Reese had many fans praising her for defending her former teammate. As clips of Martin’s attempted block on Reese went viral, many claimed her play had a different intention behind it, with her close friend Caitlin Clark’s rivalry with Reese in mind.
