With 23 Grand Slam titles under her belt and her retirement post the 2022 US Open, she’s revered by many as one of the tennis greats. Although she’s stepped away from competitive play, she returned to the tennis scene to host the ESPYs this time around.

Serena Williams, often referred to as the GOAT (Greatest of All Time) in tennis circles, has been selected as the host for the 2024 ESPY Awards, set to take place on July 10 at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles. The announcement was made during Disney’s Upfront presentation in New York City on Tuesday.

Expressing her enthusiasm, Williams remarked, “I couldn’t be more excited to host The ESPYs. This is a dream come true for me and something I’ve wanted to do for as long as I can remember.”
