With WWE’s return to the UK next month, one Superstar sees an opportunity for revenge and has his sights set on Tyson Fury!
Two years ago, during Clash at the Castle in Wales, Fury made an unexpected appearance in the main event, aiding Drew McIntyre while inadvertently striking Austin Theory with a signature right hook. Now, as the promotion gears up for another Clash at the Castle event in Glasgow in two weeks, Theory has issued a direct challenge to the heavyweight boxer.
Speaking to the Daily Star, Theory expressed his feelings: “I feel like Tyson Fury, he sucker punched me. He got me. It was a cheap shot. But you know what, I respect that. I respect that. But he’s afraid of Austin Theory, he knows the legacy that I’m creating.
“Maybe I’ve got to come into the boxing world and slap this punk, you know, I mean he’s a big guy, he knocks people out but I don’t care.
“I win championship after championship and if you look at my resume, Tyson Fury, I’m not worried about you man, so maybe we run it back. We have Clash at the Castle again but maybe he shows up, but maybe this time he doesn’t need a sucker punch because maybe he has grown some balls.”
