Tyson Fury doesn’t like being asked questions about Anthony Joshua – “Tell him to behave”

Tyson Fury/tag] and [tag]Anthony Joshua have long been on a collision course to face one another.

The Brits are two of the most high-profile fighters in the sport of boxing and, for a period, both were concurrently world champions but they have not yet faced one another in the ring.

A number of things have kept them apart – firstly it was Fury’s contractual obligations with Deontay Wilder which meant he had to go into a third and final fight with the American rather than face ‘AJ.’

After that, Joshua lost two back-to-back fights with Oleksandr Usyk which meant an all-British showdown was no longer top of the heavyweight priority list.

Since then, Joshua has got back to winning ways but it is now Fury who has fallen short against Usyk.

Next up Joshua takes on IBF champion Daniel Dubois as he looks to become a three-time world champion while Fury rematches Usyk in an attempt to overturn the only loss of his career. Should both men win, they could well finally get it on in the ring in 2025.

Would there be bad blood in the build-up? Despite some words exchanged between the two over the years, speaking to Pro Boxing Fans, Fury insisted he would invite Joshua into his home should the two meet.

“Has he ever said anything bad to me personally? I don’t think so.

If he was here now I’d go for a beer with him or a jam sandwich or I’d take him out for fish and chips. I’d take him home to meet my kids and take a picture.

You think there is bad blood between boxers? Behave yourself.”

Joshua faces Dubois on September 21 and Fury rematches with Usyk on December 21 – both have predicted that the other will lose.
