STRANGE NEWS: Paris Jackson, Michael Jackson’s only daughter, finally spoke out after 20 years of silence. And our suspicions were right…

Paris Jackson has been a superstar all her life despite being only 24 years old and the second daughter of iconic musician Michael Jackson.

Paris has endured several hardships since her father’s death, but the talented young woman is currently pursuing her own singing career.

Despite the ups and downs of her life, she has now decided to open up about her upbringing with her father, known as the “King of Pop.”

Few people, if any, are unaware of Michael Jackson’s existence. I mean, they don’t call you the “King of Pop” for nothing, do they? But as much as we love his music, the late singer’s life wasn’t easy.

Michael Jackson can be considered a product, someone who was created from a very young age to be an artist and a vocalist. That doesn’t change the fact that his music, his dancing, and his songwriting are absolute masterpieces.

The entire world mourned the musician when he passed away in 2009. He had spent virtually his entire life being hounded by paparazzi and tabloid media, and even his final burial wasn’t exempt.

Several media helicopters followed the helicopters transporting his body from the Los Angeles hospital. News about Michael Jackson and his family continues to spread around the world today.

Currently, his family members receive most of the attention. His children, in particular, have been the target of attacks, as the Jackson family is a popular target for paparazzi.

Paris Jackson, Jackson’s second daughter, has grown up in the public eye and is now doing her best to differentiate herself from Michael Jackson’s daughter and become her own person.

She has suffered from a mental illness for several years, but she is actually doing very well.

On April 3, 1998, Paris Jackson, Michael Jackson’s only daughter and second son, was born in California.

She and her brother were homeschooled until sixth grade, making their early years quite private. The children were carefully shielded from the public because Michael Jackson was willing to allow them to maintain their isolation. Children in Michael’s family wore costumes or had their heads wrapped in scarves to hide their faces in early photographs.

As a result, life at Neverland Ranch was extremely limited for Paris and his siblings. No one can deny they were immensely wealthy, but it must have also been difficult.

In a YouTube interview with supermodel Naomi Campbell, Paris Jackson opened up about her father and what her upbringing was like.

He said Michael Jackson made sure they were “cultured.”

“My father made sure we were cultured, that we were educated, and not just showing us the glitz and glamour, like five-star hotels,” Paris said.

“It was also like we saw everything. We saw third-world countries. We saw every part of the spectrum.”

Paris Jackson lived all over the world during her childhood, while her father traveled the globe to perform in front of hundreds of thousands of people.

Paris says she was very grateful for having had a “privileged” childhood, but at the same time, she learned from a young age not to feel entitled to anything. Her father made sure the children understood the concept of working hard to achieve things.

“Even when we were kids, it was all about making money,” Paris said. “If we wanted five toys from FAO Schwarz or Toys ‘R’ Us, we had to read five books.

“It’s about earning it, not just being entitled to certain things or thinking, ‘Oh, I have it all,’” he added. “It’s like working for it, working hard to achieve it—that’s a completely different thing; it’s an achievement.”

Paris was only 11 years old when her father died.

On June 25, 2009, “The King of Pop” suffered a cardiac arrest at his home and died shortly after being taken to a nearby hospital. Paris and her siblings were placed under the legal care of their grandmother, Katherine Jackson, according to Michael’s will.

During her father’s televised funeral, 11-year-old Paris stood in front of the world to say a few words about her father.

“Since I was born, Dad has been the best father you could ever imagine,” she said. “And I just wanted to say that I love him so much.”

Paris and her brothers, Prince Michael, 12, and Prince Michael II, 7, were present during the televised memorial service. In fact, it was practically the first time the world got more than a glimpse of Jackson’s children.

Then, in January 2010, they were seen again in public while accepting a posthumous lifetime achievement award for their father at the 2010 Grammy Awards.

In November of the same year, Paris appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show to talk about her father, saying he was amazing.

“I felt like no one understood what a great father he was—he was the best cook in the world,” he told Winfrey. “He was just a normal dad.”

“She made the best French toast in the world,” Paris added.

When Michael Jackson passed away, Paris Jackson moved into a mansion in Calabasas, California, with her grandmother Katherine Jackson, as well as other family members, according to The Daily Mail.

When she turned 19, she decided to move into Michael Jackson’s private studio at the family compound, which she transformed into a dormitory-style bedroom.

Losing a father is very hard, but for Paris, it was much more than that. Suddenly, she was expected to continue her father’s legacy.

“I tried to grow up too fast.” Starting seventh grade, Paris decided to attend a private school. At the time, the only ones who accepted her as she was were the older kids, and it wasn’t perfect.

“I was doing a lot of things that a 13, 14, or 15-year-old girl shouldn’t be doing. I was trying to grow up too fast, and I wasn’t a good person,” she told Rolling Stone magazine.

Around the same time, social media had become commonplace, and Paris was experiencing cyberbullying.

“The whole free speech thing is great,” he explained. “But I don’t think our Founding Fathers foresaw the existence of social media when they created all these amendments and things like that.”

Paris went through a lot of trauma as a teenager. She even attempted suicide after a very serious incident, but that was also a turning point.

She spent her sophomore year, as well as half of her junior year, at a therapeutic school in Utah, which was great for her.

“I’m a completely different person,” she said. “I was crazy. I was really crazy, going through a lot of teenage angst. And I was also dealing with my depression and anxiety without any help.”

Paris graduated from high school in 2015, a year early, but by then she already had a lot on her mind. She was one of the heirs to Michael Jackson’s multi-million-dollar estate, and everyone saw her as a  celebrity , even though she hadn’t really done anything.

Now, however, Jackson is heading in the same direction as her father: the world of entertainment. She has taken her father’s advice to heart: if you want something, you have to work for it. During the interview with Naomi Campbell, Paris stated that she was “fully convinced” that she had to earn her own success.

For someone born into a formidable family, the daughter of one of the most  famous people in modern history, this is something we truly adore Paris for. No matter what’s happened in her past or who her father is, she wants to do what she wants.

She grew up surrounded only by adults, except for her siblings. When she left Neverland to go to a real school, it was a big change for her. She grew up as Michael Jackson’s daughter, but for her, the world was more than that. And at first, it was certainly tough.

“When I was introduced to the real world, I was shocked. It stunned me,” Paris told Harper’s Bazaar. “Not just because it was sexist, but misogynistic, racist, and cruel. It was incredibly scary. And it still is.”

And what did Paris do? Well, she went her own way and started working as a model. And she’s got a real talent for it!

In recent years, she has appeared on the covers of some of the world’s most influential magazines, including Rolling Stone, Vogue, and Narcisse, to name a few.

For Paris, modeling is a very therapeutic and natural thing. Many were shocked when her father transformed thanks to his numerous plastic surgeries. But in this age of social media and cyberbullying, Paris understands his choice.

“I’ve struggled with self-esteem for a long time,” she said. “A lot of people think I’m ugly, and a lot of people don’t. But there’s a moment when I’m modeling, when I forget about my self-esteem issues and focus on what the photographer is telling me, and I feel beautiful. And in that sense, it’s selfish.”

Paris’s Instagram followers get a glimpse into her life as she seems to enjoy hanging out with her friends and enjoying all the things in life she didn’t get to fully experience when she was younger.

In 2020, she released her debut album, Wilted, following in her father’s musical footsteps. Paris Jackson is dedicated to music, but her CD is indie folk rather than the R&B and pop style her father was known for.

“It’s primarily a story of heartbreak and love in general, and the thoughts and feelings that arise when things don’t work out,” he told Paper.

Paris Jackson grew up with her father’s music and says she knows all the lyrics to his songs. While she created her own sound, it’s inevitable that Michael Jackson’s musical taste influenced her.

“He loved classical music, jazz, hip hop, R&B, and obviously the Motown style,” he says.

Paris Jackson has paid tribute to her father on her body, getting more than 50 tattoos. Nine of them are dedicated to Michael Jackson.

“I feel it with me all the time.” She doesn’t believe time heals and instead has learned to live with the tragic loss of her father.

But at the same time, Michael Jackson will always be with her, as she remembers him visiting her in her dreams.

“I live life with the mentality of, ‘OK, I lost the only thing that was ever important to me,’” he told Rolling Stone. “So, from now on, anything bad that happens can’t be as bad as what happened before. So I can handle it.”

“I feel it with me all the time.”

Anyone who has suffered the loss of a parent can empathize with Paris and the pain it entails. However, no one has experienced childhood quite like Paris Jackson.

We’re delighted that she can now go about her business without the paparazzi following her everywhere. Good luck, Paris!
