Pecco Bagnaia and Jorge Martin staggering bonuses revealed as Forbes name top 10 best paid MotoGP drivers in 2025. Marc Marquez surpasses them all

The 2025 MotoGP salary rankings are in, and let’s just say Pecco Bagnaia and Jorge Martin won’t be cashing out that yacht dream just yet—at least not compared to their Honda nemesis, Marc Marquez. Forbes has officially named the top 10 highest-earning riders in MotoGP this year, and while Bagnaia and Martin boast impressive bonuses, it’s Marquez who’s laughing all the way to the bank.

Pecco Bagnaia, fresh off a commendable title defense attempt with Ducati, and Jorge Martin, the electrifying Pramac Ducati ace, might have thought they were the sport’s cash kings. But Forbes’ numbers have them playing in the sandbox compared to Marquez, who’s apparently living in an entirely different tax bracket.

The Honda star, despite whispers of past-prime performances and the occasional dance with injury, has out-earned every rider on the grid, leaving his competitors to pick up the financial crumbs. According to the report, Marquez’s earnings come not only from his mammoth Honda paycheck but also from a seemingly endless line of sponsors who apparently still believe he’s the golden child of MotoGP.

Meanwhile, Bagnaia and Martin might be wondering if their bonuses were calculated in Monopoly money. Sure, they’re well-paid (let’s not shed any tears here), but the gap between their wallets and Marquez’s is wider than the track limits they sometimes stray over.

Forbes’ full list reveals the disparity, but perhaps the real winner here is Marquez’s accountant. With money like his, maybe he can afford to pay for the grid’s combined therapy bills once they see the rankings.

MotoGP might be about speed, but when it comes to salaries, it looks like Marc Marquez is still laps ahead.

And that, dear MotoGP fans, is the tea. 🏍️💸
