🛑 Former NASCAR Star Danica Patrick Calls Out F1 SKY SPORTS After ‘Ban Commentator For All Life’
Former NASCAR and IndyCar driver, Danica Patrick, has taken to Instagram to voice her frustrations with the social media platform. She alleges that her account is being ‘shadow banned,’ which has severely impacted the visibility of her posts.
Posting to her Instagram Story (below) to communicate her grievance, Patrick explained:
“I am so sick of being shadow banned on IG. And I can complain and be annoying because no one sees it.”
Shadow banning is a practice where users have their content restricted or hidden from the platform’s community without any notification from the platform itself. This often results in a drop in user engagement and visibility because the content does not appear in feeds or searches for other users.
Patrick’s extensive career began in 2005, highlighted by achievements such as being the first female driver to win an IndyCar race in 2008 and the first to start on pole at the Daytona 500 in 2013.
After her driving career came to an end, Patrick has moved into other areas such as broadcasting, a podcast, and a wine business. However, more recently, the former driver has moved into the political arena.

“That night just standing in the crowd, you know, after all the swing states kept going red, and you’re like, wow, and once Pennsylvania came through, you’re like, ‘Oh my God, it’s really happening.’
“[…] It’s been a long time since I just like volunteered so much time out of passion and out of a calling. I guess it’s been a while since there’s been a calling. And that’s kind of what it was. It was a very, it was a very unforced process for me that began at AmFest in the end of 2023.
“It was just such a blessing to be on that last phase of it. That last sort of four or five days with Tulsi (Gabbard) and yourself, and the man himself Donald Trump. So I’ll never forget flying home on Trump Force One sitting next to him hanging out being like, ‘How did I get here? This is so wild.'”
