After his debut in red on the Fiorano circuit, Lewis Hamilton will return to the track twice in the coming weeks. Here is the seven-time world champion’s schedule.

Lewis Hamilton will take part in at least ten additional driving sessions with Ferrari before the Bahrain winter tests (February 26-28).

The seven-time fashion champion has attracted the attention of Form 1 fashion and made his first day of driving as a Scderia driver this Wednesday, near Fiorapo. Towards the end of this first morning, under the gaze of Shadow Tifosis, Hamilto completed a total of 30 rounds, or 89 km, flying the SF-23, the second place for the 2023 season.

This driving cost, in foggy and humid conditions, was within the framework of the TPC (“Testing of Previous Cars”), that is to say the tests with cars having more than two years, which the regulations further limit this season. Thus, the titular drivers are limited to a maximum of 1000 km spread over four days.

As you have explained at the beginning of January, Ferrari had already planned, in addition to this first contact in Fiora, this session organized at the Barcelona circuit. According to information from the Italian editorial team of  Motorsport.com , the Catalan route has been booked from January 28 to 30 and will see Hamilto, as well as Charles Leclerc (who covered 42 km on Wednesday afternoon), return to the SF-23.

The weather conditions will be cool but mild, which will provide good evironment to help with the acclimatization work, and also to build up the relationship with his local manager Riccardo Adami. If both drivers perform well during these three days, this will mean that the four days authorized by the regulations for holders within the framework of the TPC have been consumed.

But that won’t be all: Ferrari will also take part in practical tests for 2026 with Pirelli. This will allow the Italian team to return to Barcelona on February 4 and 5. A bid for Hamilton (and Leclerc, it seems), who will this time be driving a modified 2024 car to get closer to the technical specifications and performance expected of the 2026 F1 version, with less downforce and narrower weights.

Even though these days were intended to help Pirelli in its work, the British will benefit from this extra driving for itsoпtiпυer soп apprenticeship of the stable operation.

It should be noted that Ferrari will not be the only one in Montmeló since McLare will join the Scuderia there. The reigning world champion team among the constructors will, before that, have carried out the wet test session at Pall-Ricard, probably on 29 and 30 January, again on behalf of the Italian manufacturer.

Indeed, as a reminder, the Maraello team will present its 2025 model on February 19, the day after the livery presentation ceremony organized in Lodève.
