Experts say Mike Tyson could ‘kneel down and ask for forgiveness’ if he still decides to fight Jake Paul

Mike Tyson, who retired nearly two decades ago after quitting on his stool in his last professional fight, is set to face Jake Paul this summer. Evander Holyfield, Tyson’s former opponent, believes Tyson might do the same again.

The heavyweight legend will fight YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul in July at the 80,000-seat AT&T Stadium in Texas. Tyson, who will be 58 on fight night, has not fought professionally since his 2005 bout with Kevin McBride, where he quit on his stool.

Holyfield, speaking to Fight Hub TV, shared his thoughts on the match. “It all depends on how Jake fights,” he said. “The point is whether Jake Paul can take a good shot. I have never seen him get hit by anybody, but you never know, Mike might just quit and sit down and say, ‘I’m done.'”

Despite Tyson’s friendship with Paul, he is determined to win. Their clash is expected to be a professional fight, not an exhibition. However, many fans remain skeptical about Tyson’s performance given his age.

Paul, who has lost only one fight to Tommy Fury, sees beating Tyson as a significant achievement. He has bulked up to match Tyson’s physical presence, though the former heavyweight champion is unimpressed by Paul’s larger physique.

“Mike Tyson called me fat, but I believe the fat will turn into muscle by fight night,” Paul told TMZ Sports. “I’ll be able to move and jump around the ring like a real heavyweight.”

Their fight will be an eight-round match, each round lasting two minutes, with both fighters wearing 14-ounce gloves. Tyson last fought in an exhibition match against Roy Jones Jr. four years ago, while Paul knocked out unknown boxer Ryan Bourland in March.

As the fight approaches, fans and critics eagerly await to see if Tyson can defy the odds and if Paul can stand up to a boxing legend. The outcome remains uncertain, but the anticipation is undeniable.
