The announcement created on X (previously Twitter) immediately aroused contradictory reactions between government officials, investors and web users.

Musk said: “I don’t do politics, I just want to make sure that the money really goes where you have to go.” With this statement he triggered a wave of online discussions. It looks like a question that deserves an answer. ”He added that his team would use the blockchain technology to track every single dollar that was sent with the help, or alternatively show anomalies in money flows.

In an idea that swings between the genius and the absurd, Musk has decided to include the Dogecoin development team and to describe them “some of the best and crazy problems of the problems on the planet”. According to him, the transparency offered by the blockchain will make it possible to track the funds clearly and effectively, similar to monitoring MEME securities, but with real geopolitical effects.

The strangest aspect of all this operation is undoubtedly the participation of Dogecoin, a cryptocurrency born as a joke that has become an internet phenomenon over time. Musk is convinced that its decentralized and open nature makes the perfect instrument to ensure financial transparency.

One of the Dotecoin developers, known as “Moonhibe420”, commented enthusiastically: “I never thought of waking up one day and seeing Dogy to follow war funds, but we are here.”

In addition, Musk suggested that everyone who is discovered to manage the means badly has to give him back to Dotecoin. “It seems to me to be right,” he said. “If you waste money like a joke, give it back to a currency that was born as a joke.”

The Ukrainian government, which has already been examined for foreign aid, reacted with caution. One spokesman said: “We appreciate the transparency, but we don’t understand why a group that is connected to a cryptocurrency memo is running the operation.”

President Volodymyr Zelensky also intervened and reacted to X with a cryptic gif of a raccoon who rubs his hands and continues to set speculation.
