Aryna Sabalenka, the current World No. 1 in women’s tennis, has recently shared insights into her future plans, sparking discussions among fans and the tennis community.

At 26, Sabalenka has hinted at the possibility of early retirement to focus on starting a family. She expressed a desire not to delay motherhood until her 30s, stating, “I don’t want to wait until I’m 35 to have children.” 

Despite contemplating retirement, Sabalenka remains a formidable presence on the court. She began her campaign for a third consecutive Australian Open title with a commanding victory over Sloane Stephens, showcasing her signature power and determination. 

On a personal note, Sabalenka has been open about her relationship with Georgios Frangulis, expressing gratitude for his unwavering support. This relationship has been a source of strength, especially following the tragic loss of her ex-boyfriend, Konstantin Koltsov, in 2024. 

In a heartwarming interaction at the 2024 US Open, Sabalenka was touched by a young fan who attended the match dressed as her “mini-me,” complete with a temporary tiger tattoo. This gesture deeply moved Sabalenka, who took the time to meet and take photos with the young admirer, stating, “It’s such a motivation to keep going to inspire the young generation.”
