British boxing legend Carl Froch has not held back in his ongoing criticism of Anthony Joshua, despite their past connection as gym mates in Sheffield. Froch, known as ‘The Cobra,’ has consistently voiced his disapproval of Joshua’s actions and demeanor, particularly since Joshua parted ways with Froch’s former coach, Rob McCracken.

“I’ve not even shared most of the messages. I’ve shared 10% of them. Whether I should or shouldn’t have done it, I shared the bit where he’s flashing a bit of cash and a Rolex watch. It’s plastic gangster stuff. It’s pathetic, it’s childish, it’s a bit ridiculous and I think he’ll be cringing now. I’ve done it because why should I be abused by somebody in his position?”

Anthony Joshua is set to face Daniel Dubois for the IBF world title at Wembley on September 21. A victory in this bout would make Joshua a three-time world heavyweight champion.
